New Hope
December 1, 2009I’d like to share this news recently reported from Tel Aviv University about stem cell research aimed at finding a cure for MS. The Israelis have been very successful in stem cell research in other fields, particularly Cardiology, finding a way to differentiate stem cells taken from a patient and using them to stimulate the patient’s heart muscle to repair it’s own heart damage after heart attack. With that kind of success and the progress reported here regarding MS, progress in repairing myelin sheath seems very possible and maybe soon.
